Installation of a gas fuelled combined heat and power unit in an existing city centre office complex, and using it to generate electricity and heat for the office complex and heat for the neighbouring buildings
Optimal energy conservation technology in a mixed use city centre building in Dublin, Ireland
The Green Building in Temple Bar, Dublin is designed to minimise undesirable heat gains and losses and to maximise the use of solar energy both directly in the form of heat and light and indirectly by using sun, wind, bedrock energy and stack and canyon effects.
Performance of roof-mounted renewable energy generators in Ireland
The performance of micro-generators (wind turbines and PV panels) and solar collectors (evacuated tubes) on the Green Building in Temple Bar, Dublin have been monitored since they were commissioned over twelve years ago. This paper summarises the results of this long term evaluation.
